EAMCET 2014 exam has been postponed, due to loksabha elections

After the announcement of the Lok Sabha Election 2014 dates, Andhra Pradesh State EAMCET 2014 entrance examination has been postponed.
Earlier, EAMCET 2014 exam was set to be held on May 17. But now it has been postponed to May 22.
Counting of the votes of the general elections is scheduled to be held on May 16.

However, there may be a chance to extend the date to May 17. So, Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) extended the dates of EAMCET 2014 exam.
Education department officials are saying it is not possible to hold the exam on the next day itself, taking two important aspects into consideration, such as availability of exam centers, and services of invigilators.
Till now, around 67,000 candidates have been registered for the EAMCET 2014 exam.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad is all set to conduct Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET 2014) on behalf of APSCHE.

EAMCET 2014 is the qualifying entrance exam for admission to the first year of undergraduate professional courses offered for the academic year 2014-15, in the university & private unaided and affiliated professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
